ELETTROCANALI EC Series IP65 GRP Polyester Enclosure with Transparent Window 40

The ELETTROCANALI EC Series GRP Polyester Enclosure with Transparent Window is a robust, industrial-grade housing solution crafted from halogen-free, reinforced fibreglass (GRP) polyester. This self-extinguishing material, compliant with UL94 standards, offers superior safety and durability in demanding environments. The enclosure features double insulation for enhanced electrical protection and boasts exceptional shock resistance, achieving an IK10 rating to withstand high levels of mechanical impact.

A key feature of this unit is its IP65 protection, ensuring it is completely dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets from any direction. This makes it an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor installations. The design includes a fully reversible door with stainless steel hinge pins, allowing it to open more than 180 degrees for unparalleled access during installation and maintenance. The door is fitted with a transparent window, enabling easy visual inspection of internal components without compromising the enclosure's seal.

Assembly and installation are simplified by a practical one-screw system, allowing for quick and secure fitting. Finished in a standard industrial grey (RAL 7035), the enclosure presents a professional and neutral appearance suitable for a wide range of settings. Its construction is free from substances of very high concern (SVHC), as confirmed in January 2023.

Applications

This versatile enclosure is engineered for reliability in harsh conditions. It is perfectly suited for housing electrical components, control systems, and instrumentation across various sectors. Its specific design and material properties make it an excellent choice for photovoltaic (solar) installations and chemical processing plants, where resistance to environmental factors and chemicals is critical.
