IMO BS3P34RED'O Mushroom Emergency Stop Switch Actuator

The IMO BS3P34RED'O Mushroom Emergency Stop Switch Actuator is a critical safety component designed for use with IMO BS3 series emergency stop pushbuttons. This red mushroom head actuator with a distinctive white 'O' and black bezel is engineered for high-visibility and immediate recognition in industrial environments, allowing for rapid shutdown of machinery in emergency situations.

Its turn-to-release (or twist release) mechanism is a key safety feature, preventing accidental resets and ensuring the system remains safely de-energised until a deliberate manual action is taken. This is essential for lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and for protecting personnel during maintenance or when a fault is detected.

Constructed to meet rigorous industrial standards, the actuator boasts an IP65 rating, making it dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This resilience ensures reliable operation in demanding conditions such as manufacturing floors, workshops, and processing plants where dust, dirt, or occasional splash exposure is common.

The compact and robust design integrates seamlessly with the BS3 series pushbutton housings, providing a durable interface that withstands repeated use. By enabling a clear and unambiguous emergency stop command, this actuator forms a vital part of any comprehensive machine safety system, helping businesses comply with health and safety regulations and safeguarding both equipment and personnel.
