INTERSIL CMOS Operational Amplifier 7611 DIP8

The INTERSIL CMOS Operational Amplifier 7611 is a low-power device that provides designers with high-performance operation at low supply voltages. Featuring selectable quiescent currents, this operational amplifier is an ideal design tool when ultra-low input current and low power dissipation are desired.

A unique quiescent current programming pin allows the setting of standby current without the need for external components, resulting in power consumption as low as 20μW. The inputs are internally protected, and the outputs are fully protected against short circuits to ground or to either supply. Due to its low power dissipation, junction temperature rise and drift are notably low, ensuring stable and reliable performance.

Key Features

• Wide operating voltage range: ±1 to ±8V
• High input impedance: 10¹²Ω
• Programmable power consumption: 20μW
• Typical input current: 1pA (lower than BIFETs)
• Output voltage swing: V+ and V-
• Input common mode voltage range greater than supply rails

This operational amplifier is highly suited for applications requiring precision and efficiency, such as stable instruments, extended life designs, and high-density packages. It provides excellent performance for signal processing and portable devices.
