MENTOR Planar Light Guide, 45 Degree, 5mm

The MENTOR Planar Light Guide is an innovative 1-fold optical component designed for modern front panel applications. It provides the optimal solution when your design requires a light guide that is not physically attached to the PCB, offering superior flexibility and a cleaner aesthetic finish.

This guide features a unique push-fit design that installs securely into a hole in the front panel. Its light-inject face floats in close proximity to the SMD LED without making direct contact, eliminating mechanical stress on the LED and providing engineers with multiple, versatile design options for product interfaces.

As a key element in the human interface with any electronic device, the appearance and optical quality of a light guide significantly influence overall product aesthetics and user perception. The planar head design offers ultimate flexibility for design engineers, enabling sleek, integrated lighting solutions. It is constructed from visibly superior, premium-quality precision optics that will genuinely enhance the appearance and perceived value of any application.
