MOLEX / BRAD Automotive Cavity Plug

The MOLEX / BRAD Cavity Plug is an essential component designed for sealing unused terminal positions within automotive connector housings. When assembling complex electrical systems, it is common to have leftover or unpopulated cavities in a connector block. Failing to seal these openings can compromise the integrity of the entire connection, leaving the system vulnerable to environmental hazards.

This cavity plug effectively maintains the environmental sealing of the connector, ensuring that the internal components remain protected. By securely filling the empty cavities, it prevents the ingress of dust, dirt, and moisture, which could otherwise lead to corrosion, short circuits, or system failures in demanding automotive environments.
