MOLEX / BRAD SATA System Plug, Right Angle, SMT

The MOLEX / BRAD SATA System Plug is a right-angle, surface-mount connector designed to provide a reliable and streamlined interface for connecting SATA (Serial ATA) drives to printed circuit boards (PCBs). Its innovative side-entry, low-profile design makes it ideal for applications where space is at a premium, enabling high-density storage solutions without compromising on performance.

This connector is engineered for surface-mount technology (SMT), allowing for automated, high-volume assembly directly onto the board. Its robust construction ensures dependable data transfer and stable power delivery, which are critical for the consistent operation of hard disk drives (HDDs), solid-state drives (SSDs), and other SATA-compatible storage devices.

With its compact right-angle form factor, it helps to reduce the overall height of the connection, making it perfect for slimline enclosures, notebooks, and other space-constrained electronic assemblies where a traditional vertical connector would be unsuitable. The connector's design facilitates efficient cable routing and contributes to a cleaner internal layout.

Built to meet the exacting standards expected from the MOLEX / BRAD brand, this SATA plug offers durability and a secure connection, minimising signal integrity issues and power dropouts. It is a key component for system integrators and manufacturers looking to build reliable data storage infrastructure.
