Seeed Studio Raspberry Pi Wide Angle Camera Module 5MP

The Seeed Studio Wide Angle Camera Module for Raspberry Pi is a low-cost camera accessory that incorporates a fisheye lens, delivering a significantly wider field of view than the standard Raspberry Pi camera. It is designed for all revisions of the Raspberry Pi, making it a versatile choice for projects requiring a broader perspective.

At its core, the module features a 5 Megapixel OV5647 sensor, ensuring clear and detailed image capture. The integrated fisheye lens expands the viewing angle, making it ideal for surveillance, robotics, and interactive projects where a standard lens would be too narrow.

The module is designed for straightforward mounting, with 4 screw holes provided for secure attachment. It also offers a 3.3V power output and supports the connection of a fill flash LED, allowing you to enhance image quality in low-light conditions. The compact dimensions of 25mm x 24mm allow for easy integration into your builds.

Please note: The product includes the RPi camera board (G) and a 15-pin FFC with opposite-side contacts, enabling a direct connection to the Raspberry Pi.

Whether you are a hobbyist or a professional developer, this wide-angle camera module is a practical and affordable solution for projects that demand a broader field of view.
