SOCKET & SEE SP400 Professional Proving Unit 690V

The SOCKET & SEE SP400 Professional Proving Unit is a vital piece of safety equipment designed to provide a safe and reliable method for verifying the correct operation of essential electrical testing devices. It checks the function of multimeters and two-pole voltage indicators both before and after use, ensuring the safety of the user by confirming their tools are working accurately. A key feature is its capability to test non-contact voltage detectors, offering comprehensive pre-use verification.

This unit generates a precise 50V to 690V output with a true AC waveform, replicating real-world conditions for accurate testing. It incorporates an intelligent voltage ramp function specifically for testing digital multimeters (DMMs) and voltage indicators (VIs). Furthermore, it is powerful enough to illuminate older filament-style test lamps, making it compatible with a wide range of legacy and modern equipment.

For ease of use and battery conservation, the SP400 features automatic operation and turn-off. It is powered by six standard AA batteries, providing excellent portability for use on various job sites. Its compact and robust design ensures it can withstand the demands of daily professional use.
