STMICROELECTRONICS Snubberless TRIAC 600V 4A TO-252 (DPAK)

The STMICROELECTRONICS Snubberless™ TRIAC is a high-performance semiconductor device designed specifically for use with AC inductive loads. Utilising advanced Logic level technology, this triac delivers exceptional commutation performance, ensuring reliable and efficient switching operations in demanding environments.

As a three-quadrant triac, it eliminates the need for a snubber circuit, simplifying your circuit design and reducing overall component count. With a peak repetitive off-state voltage of 600V and an on-state RMS current of 4A, it provides robust power handling capabilities for a wide variety of industrial and consumer applications.

The device comes in a compact TO-252 (DPAK) surface-mount package, featuring 3 pins for straightforward PCB integration. It is engineered to operate reliably at temperatures up to 125°C, making it suitable for high-stress thermal environments. Whether you are designing motor drive controls or power management systems, this logic-level triac offers a highly efficient switching solution.
