AMP TE CONNECTIVITY MTA-100 Housing, 26AWG, 10 Way IDC Connector
10-way MTA-100 IDC connector housing for 26AWG wire, with 2.54mm pitch & tin-plated copper contacts. Ideal for industrial applications.
The AMP TE CONNECTIVITY MTA-100 Housing, 26AWG, 10 Way is part of the reliable MTA-100 series connector system, utilising insulation displacement contact (IDC) technology for efficient wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connections. This system significantly reduces labour costs in cable and harness assemblies by enabling mass wire termination.
Designed with versatility in mind, these connectors feature single-row contacts on a 2.54mm pitch spacing, with wire feed-through capability ideal for daisy-chain applications. The IDC contacts can terminate 28 to 22AWG discrete wires or notched ribbon cables, providing flexibility for various wiring needs.
Key features include:
- Colour-coded housing for easy wire gauge identification
- Tin, 15 & 30 gold plating options for different application requirements
- Audible latch on wire-to-wire housings for secure connection confirmation
- Suitable for both industrial applications and board mounting with right-angle or vertical configurations
With a rating of 250V and 5A, this 10-way housing offers reliable performance in demanding electrical environments. The tin-plated copper alloy contacts ensure good conductivity and durability.
