The ARIES ZIF IC Socket is designed for frequently removed devices, such as PROMs and EPROMs, allowing them to be inserted and removed multiple times without the risk of leg damage. Operation is straightforward and user-friendly. When the integral lever is in the vertical position, the socket holes are open for easy IC insertion. Moving the lever to the horizontal position clamps the legs of the device firmly, securely locking it into place and ensuring a stable electrical connection.
The wide socket holes accommodate ICs with 0.3”, 0.4” and 0.6” pitch pins, enabling compatibility with a wide range of devices in the same socket.
