The Dormer E500 HSS Coarse Tap with straight flutes is designed for both manual and machine use, making it an extremely versatile tool for creating threads in a variety of materials. Its robust construction from high-speed steel (HSS) ensures durability and long service life, even under demanding conditions.

When working with blind holes, they should be used as part of a set comprising three distinct taps: the taper (first) tap, the second (intermediate) tap, and the bottoming (third/plug) tap. This sequential usage ensures precise threading and optimal results.
