Dormer Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr Ball, 4mm x 3mm
Dormer 4mm carbide rotary burr ball for skip flute grinding. Double-cut design for efficient metal removal and durability.
The Dormer P807 Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr Ball features a high-performance ball nose geometry designed for skip flute grinding, providing enhanced strength at the centre. Its unique design reduces swarf congestion while improving cutting action closer to the centre, making it ideal for precision machining applications.
This rotary burr produces double cuts, allowing for smoother material removal, and is an excellent first choice for general machining tasks. Engineered to break swarf into manageable pieces, it delivers an improved metal removal rate with superior ease of control.
The burr features toughened and hardened steel shanks for added rigidity and strength, minimising bending and vibration to extend tool life. Precision-ground to h6 (carbide) and h7 (steel) tolerances, it ensures consistent performance. The burr also boasts excellent impact strength, enabling it to withstand high forces and elevated temperatures without failing. Special brazing elements contribute to its exceptional braze strength for long-lasting reliability.
