Dormer Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr, Ball Nosed, 8 x 6mm
Durable Dormer carbide rotary burr with ball nose geometry for efficient metal removal and extended tool life.
The Dormer P805 Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr features a ball nose geometry designed for efficient skip flute grinding while ensuring increased strength at the centre. This design reduces the chance of swarf congestion and improves the cutting action closer to the centre. Ideal for general machining, the burr produces double cuts, offering superior performance in material removal.
Constructed with toughened and hardened steel shanks, this rotary burr provides exceptional rigidity and strength, preventing bending and minimising vibrations for extended tool life. Precision-ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) tolerances, it offers excellent impact strength, capable of withstanding high forces and elevated temperatures without compromise. Special brazing elements further enhance braze strength, ensuring reliability under demanding conditions.
