Dormer Solid Carbide Rotary Bright Burr Oval, 6mm x 6mm
Professional Dormer carbide rotary burr (6mm) for precision grinding and machining with excellent durability.
The Dormer P809 Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr features an oval ball nose geometry designed for skip flute grinding and enhanced strength at the centre. This innovative design reduces swarf congestion while improving cutting performance closer to the core, making it highly efficient for general machining applications. With double-cut fluting, this burr excels at rapid material removal while breaking swarf into manageable pieces for cleaner work.
Constructed with toughened and hardened steel shanks, this burr provides exceptional rigidity and strength, minimising bending and vibration during operation. This not only extends tool life but also ensures consistent performance under demanding conditions. The carbide and steel components are precision-ground to h6 and h7 tolerances respectively, guaranteeing precise machining results.
Key advantages include excellent impact resistance capable of withstanding high forces and elevated temperatures without failure. Special brazing elements contribute to superior braze strength, ensuring long-term durability even in intensive applications.
