Dormer Solid Carbide Rotary Burr, Ball Nosed, 16 x 6mm
Dormer P805 carbide rotary burr with ball nose for efficient machining. High strength, precision ground, 16mm diameter, 6mm shank.
The Dormer P805 Solid Carbide Rotary Bright Burr features a ball nose geometry designed for skip flute grinding, offering increased strength at the centre. This design reduces the chance of swarf congestion and improves cutting action closer to the centre, making it ideal for general machining applications. The burr produces double cuts, enhancing efficiency and control, while breaking swarf into manageable pieces for easier disposal.
Constructed with toughened and hardened steel shanks, this rotary burr provides exceptional rigidity and strength, preventing bending and reducing vibrations for an extended tool life. The burr is ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) tolerances, ensuring precision and durability. Its excellent impact strength allows it to withstand high forces and elevated temperatures without failure. Special brazing elements contribute to superior braze strength, further enhancing performance.
