Everbuild Sika Overlap & Border Adhesive, High Strength, 500g

The Everbuild Sika Overlap & Border Adhesive is a high-strength, ready-mixed paste designed for hanging all types of borders, including vinyl. It is also ideal for adhering overlaps and repairing damaged paper sections. This versatile adhesive bonds effectively with common papers as well as gloss and emulsioned walls, making it a must-have for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals.

Application Instructions:

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose or flaky material. For gloss or non-porous surfaces, lightly rub them down to improve adhesion.

For Borders:

1. Cut the border to the required length.
2. Gently score vinyl wallpaper where the border will be positioned.
3. For pre-pasted borders, moisten them before applying adhesive.
4. Spread the adhesive evenly over the border, ensuring full coverage.
5. Position the border and smooth it down with a sponge or cloth, taking care to avoid adhesive contact with the printed side.
6. Wipe off any excess adhesive immediately with a damp cloth.

For Overlap Repairs: Apply the adhesive to the fixed substrate and press the overlap piece into position. Use a brush to press firmly and wipe off excess adhesive with a damp cloth.

Coverage:

• 1kg of adhesive covers approximately 40m of a 13cm (5-inch) deep border.
• This 500g container covers approximately 20m.
