ForgeFix 40mm Oval Lost Head Nails, Bright Finish, 2.5kg
ForgeFix 40mm oval lost head nails reduce timber splitting & disappear when punched in. Bright mild steel, 2.5kg bag.
The ForgeFix 40mm Oval Lost Head Nails are versatile fasteners designed for general joinery applications. Their unique oval shape helps to prevent splitting in hard or brittle timber, making them an excellent choice for delicate woodworking projects. When punched below the timber surface, their heads virtually disappear, providing a clean, decorative finish that enhances the aesthetic appeal of your work.
These nails feature a bright finish, meaning they are made from raw mild steel without any additional coating or treatment. This makes them suitable for both structural and decorative applications where a rust-resistant coating is unnecessary. The 2.5kg bag provides ample quantity for various projects.
Key Features:
- Oval shape reduces splitting
- Lost head design for a seamless finish
- Bright mild steel—no additional coating
- 25mm length, ideal for joinery work
For best results, align the nail with the wood grain during application to minimise splitting and ensure a secure hold.
