ForgeFix Flat Penny Washer ZP M12 x 25mm (Pack of 20)
Durable bright zinc-plated flat penny washers (M12 x 25mm) – corrosion-resistant and ideal for bolting applications. Pack of 20.
The ForgeFix Flat Penny Washer is designed for a wide range of bolting applications, offering durability and corrosion resistance due to its bright zinc-plated finish. With an outside diameter of 25mm, these washers provide a smooth bearing surface for nuts and bolts, reducing the risk of loosening caused by uneven fastening surfaces.
The Penny Washer name originates from its resemblance to an old British penny in size. It effectively distributes the load under bolt heads or nuts, enhancing the stability of your fastenings. The zinc plating acts as a protective barrier against oxidation and serves as a sacrificial anode, prolonging the lifespan of both the washer and the bolted joint.
