ForgeFix ForgeFast Pozi Wood Screws 5.0 x 80mm (Box of 100)
High-performance ForgeFix wood screws with Pozi drive, anti-split thread & corrosion-resistant Elementech 400 coating.
ForgeFix ForgeFast Pozi Compatible Wood Screws are designed for professional-grade performance and durability. Their Pozi-compatible drive ensures universal compatibility, while the 6 underhead lobes improve countersinking and minimise surface dust. The reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power, providing a more secure and stable grip in timber applications.
These screws feature an anti-friction thread that reduces timber splitting and 'jacking', improving the drawing strength for better joint integrity. The serrated thread design enhances pull-out resistance while lowering insertion torque, making installation more efficient. The double cutting point ensures faster drilling times and prevents wood dust clogging, as well as offering the ability to pierce 0.8mm steel sheets.
Elementech 400 coating provides superior corrosion resistance, lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. This eco-friendly, Cr6+-free corrosion protection is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours, ensuring long-term durability even in demanding environments. Ideal for interior use, these screws deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and longevity.
