ForgeFix ForgeFast Pozi Wood Screws ZY 4.0x70mm, Box 100
High-performance ForgeFix wood screws with Pozi drive & Elementech coating. Reduced splitting, improved hold (4.0x70mm, 100pc).
The ForgeFix ForgeFast Pozi Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screws combine cutting-edge engineering with practical design to deliver exceptional holding power and ease of use. Featuring a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive, these screws offer improved countersinking with 6 underhead lobes, reducing surface dust and enhancing stability. The reinforced countersunk necks significantly improve holding power, making them ideal for heavy-duty applications.
These screws incorporate an anti-friction thread that minimises timber splitting, prevents 'jacking' or spinning of joined timber, and enhances drawing strength. The serrated thread ensures improved pull-out resistance and reduced insertion torque. A double cutting point allows for faster drilling, minimises wood dust clogging, and can even pierce 0.8mm steel.
Protected by the Elementech 400 coating, these screws boast superior corrosion resistance—lasting up to 6 times longer than standard zinc finishes. This environmentally friendly coating is free from Cr6+ and has been salt spray tested for 400 hours.
