ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw, ZP M6 x 60mm, Pack of 4
High-tensile grade 8.8 steel set screws, zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. DIN 933 compliant, ideal for engineering & construction.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw ZP M6 x 60mm is crafted from grade 8.8 steel, offering superior strength and durability for demanding applications. These screws are zinc plated (ZP), providing excellent resistance to corrosion, ensuring a longer lifespan even in harsh environments. Fully threaded and conforming to DIN 933 standards, they guarantee reliable performance and compatibility with a wide range of nuts and washers.
Ideal for fastening various materials or securing into pre-tapped holes, these set screws are a versatile solution for many engineering and construction tasks. The zinc plating acts as both a protective barrier and a sacrificial anode, preventing oxidation and maintaining the integrity of the screw. Unlike iron oxide, zinc oxide (a fine white dust) does not degrade the substrate, further enhancing durability.
Supplied in a convenient ForgePack for easy storage and handling, this pack includes 4 high-quality set screws, making it a cost-effective choice for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.
