The ForgeFix Multi-Purpose Pozi Compatible Screws feature a countersunk head and zinc finish for increased durability and longevity. The zinc coating provides excellent corrosion resistance by forming a protective barrier against oxidation. If the coating is damaged, zinc acts as a sacrificial anode to prevent rusting. Unlike iron oxide, zinc oxide does not compromise the substrate's integrity and can further protect the metal if left intact.
