ForgeFix Pozi Countersunk Screws ZP, 2½in x 8, Box 200
ForgeFix zinc-plated Pozi countersunk screws (2½in x 8, 200-pack). Ideal for DIY, electrical & plumbing projects.
These ForgeFix General Purpose Pozi Compatible Screws feature countersunk heads and a zinc-plated finish for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. Ideal for a wide range of applications, they are a popular choice for general-purpose use in ironmongery, electrical, and plumbing projects.
Key Features
- Zinc-Plated Coating: Forms a protective barrier against oxidation, extending the lifespan of the screws. If scratched, the zinc acts as a sacrificial anode, preventing rust.
- Pozi Drive: Unlike standard Phillips heads, Pozidriv screws have four additional contact points, preventing cam-out and enabling higher torque application. Easily identifiable by the 45° embossed lines on the head.
- Countersunk Head: Designed to sit flush with the substrate for a smooth finish, minimising protrusions.
- Twin Threads: Facilitates easy screw driving and reduces the risk of splitting materials.
Applications
These screws are suitable for use with a variety of materials, including wood, plastic, and light metal. They are compatible with screw cover caps for a neat finish. Ideal for:
- Ironmongery fixes
- Electrical installations
- Plumbing assemblies
