The ForgeFix Spectre™ PZ Compatible Wood Screw combines premium features into an advanced multi-purpose wood screw, designed for professional and DIY applications. With a countersunk head compatible with Pozidrive bits, these screws ensure secure and efficient fastening. The fully threaded design (up to 50mm) incorporates a sawtooth thread to prevent wood splitting, and for lengths of 50mm and above, a reamer prevents jacking for a flush fit.

These screws are surface hardened and feature a quick-start Type 17 slash point, ensuring easy penetration into wood without pre-drilling. The zinc yellow passivated finish not only provides excellent corrosion resistance but also offers an aesthetically pleasing appearance. This finish is achieved through an advanced electroplating process that includes a yellow dye, similar to galvanised or zinc-plated coatings but with enhanced visual appeal.
