ForgeFix Spring Washers ZP M6, Pack of 100
Zinc-plated ForgeFix M6 spring washers for secure, vibration-resistant fastening. Ideal for engineering & machinery.
The ForgeFix Spring Lock Washers are ring-shaped, split at one point, and bent into a helix. This unique design ensures the washer exerts a spring force between the fastener's head and the base item, effectively preventing loosening due to movement or vibration. Made with bright zinc plating, these washers offer increased corrosion resistance for long-lasting performance.
Features
These washers are ideal for various bolting applications, especially in environments prone to movement or vibration. Common uses include engineering and machinery setups. They are compatible with all types of bolts and nuts, providing versatile and reliable fastening solutions.
Corrosion Resistance
The zinc plating prevents oxidation by forming a protective barrier. If the barrier is compromised, the zinc acts as a sacrificial anode, further safeguarding the metal. Zinc oxide, which forms as a fine white dust, does not degrade the substrate, unlike iron oxide. This protective layer ensures the washer remains durable and functional over time.
