ForgeFix TechFast Hex Roofing Screws 5.5 x 32mm (100 Pack)
Heavy-duty zinc plated hex roofing screws with self-drilling tip and weatherproof washer. Pack of 100.
The ForgeFix TechFast Hex Roofing Screws are premium quality fasteners designed specifically for securing cladding and sheet steel to heavy section steel purlins (6.0mm to 12.5mm thickness). These screws feature a rugged hex head design that provides excellent torque transmission and a secure fit.
A key advantage is the integrated self-drilling point which eliminates the need for pre-drilling, saving valuable time during installation. The screws include a durable rubber washer that expands under pressure to create a permanent, watertight weather seal - ideal for exterior applications where weatherproofing is essential.
Protection against corrosion is outstanding thanks to the zinc plating combined with the advanced 'Elementech' coating, which has been rigorously tested to withstand 1,000 hours of salt spray exposure. This makes them particularly suitable for coastal areas or industrial environments where corrosion resistance is paramount.
