ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws 5.5 x 100mm, Box 100
High-performance ForgeFix TechFast screws for timber-to-steel connections. Fire-resistant, TORX® compatible, and EU-compliant. Box of 100.
The ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specifically designed for joining timber to steel frame buildings, offering a high-performance and efficient fastening solution. These screws feature breakaway wings that create a clearance hole in the timber, protecting the thread and allowing it to engage cleanly with the metal surface. Once the wings contact the metal, they break off, enabling the thread to drill and secure the connection. This innovative design ensures a smooth and hassle-free installation process.
Equipped with a TORX® compatible insert, these screws provide a higher power transmission and better torque control, reducing the risk of cam-out and ensuring a secure fit. The recessed ribs improve countersinking, delivering a flush and professional finish.
Fire and corrosion-resistant, these screws comply with EU Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements, making them suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Whether you're working on structural framing, cladding, or other timber-to-steel connections, these screws offer reliability and durability.
