The ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specially designed for fastening timber to steel frame constructions. These innovative screws feature breakaway wings that create a clearance hole while drilling through timber, protecting the thread from engaging until it reaches the steel surface. Upon contacting the metal, the wings break off, allowing the thread to engage securely with the steel.

Equipped with a TORX® compatible insert, these screws provide enhanced power transmission for easier driving. The recessed ribs ensure improved countersinking, creating a flush finish every time. These screws are both fire and corrosion-resistant, making them suitable for demanding construction environments. They also comply with all EU Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.
