ForgeFix Wafer Head TORX® Compatible Construction Screws, Tan, 8x240mm (30 Pack
Premium TORX® compatible construction screws with self-drilling thread & Elementech 2000 corrosion protection. CE approved for load-bearing timber.
The ForgeFix Wafer Head TORX® Compatible Construction Screws are engineered for high-performance fastening in both softwood and hardwood applications. Their deep Torx® compatible insert significantly reduces cam-out, allowing for higher torque application and a more secure drive. The super sharp tip ensures immediate grip from the first turn, while the patented self-drilling thread eliminates the need for pre-drilling, minimising the risk of timber splitting—even when working close to the edge.
Protected by Elementech 2000 surface treatment, these screws offer corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than standard zinc-coated alternatives. Their hardened case and core provide exceptional strength and durability, making them ideal for demanding construction projects. Additionally, the screws can flex up to 35°, reducing the likelihood of shearing in flexible materials.
