IRWIN Record 918H High-Tensile Bolt Cutters, 460mm (18in)
IRWIN Record 918H bolt cutters cut hard materials up to Brinell 500. Ideal for steel rods, bolts & reinforced concrete.
The IRWIN Record 918H Arm Adjusted High-Tensile Bolt Cutters are engineered for cutting exceptionally hard materials, with jaws specially heat-treated to handle hardness up to Brinell 500 (Rockwell C52, 110 tons/square inch). This makes them perfect for industrial and heavy-duty applications where standard bolt cutters would fail.
These bolt cutters feature centre cut jaws with a short nose design, enabling trouble-free cutting of pre-stressed concrete reinforcing rods, mesh, wire, high-tensile steel rods, bolts, case-hardened chain, cold-drawn alloy steel, and tempered spring wire. The arm-adjusted mechanism ensures superior leverage and cutting power with minimal effort.
Key Features:
- Heat-treated jaws for cutting hard materials (Brinell 500/Rockwell C52)
- Short nose centre-cut jaws for precision cutting
- Arm-adjusted design for increased leverage
- Ideal for reinforced concrete, high-tensile steel, and hardened chains
