Robust IRWIN Record vice with hardened steel jaws & smooth Acme screw—ideal for workshops, metalwork & DIY. 115mm jaw width.
The IRWIN Record No.4 Mechanic's Vice combines rigidity with robust construction for reliable performance in a variety of applications. Its body and sliding jaw are precision-cast from close-grained grey iron, with all friction surfaces machined to ensure smooth and dependable operation.
- Durable Jaws: Hardened steel jaws are fitted for extended longevity and can be easily replaced when worn.
- Fast Operation: The main steel screw features a two-start rolled Acme thread, allowing for quicker and smoother adjustment.
- Safety Features: Includes a fused steel handle designed to bend under excessive force, protecting the vice from overstress. A safety stop prevents accidental separation of the slide from the body.
