The Knipex 87 01 400 Cobra® XL Pipe Wrench & Water Pump Pliers are designed for superior gripping performance in professional applications. Crafted from chrome vanadium electric steel, these pliers undergo multi-stage oil-hardening for exceptional durability and long service life. The specially hardened teeth on the gripping surfaces (59-61 HRC) deliver outstanding wear resistance and stable gripping power, even on stubborn fasteners. A convenient press-button adjustment allows quick size changes directly on the workpiece. The fine adjustment mechanism enables perfect adaptation to various workpiece sizes, while the self-locking design prevents slippage on pipes and nuts. The box joint construction ensures maximum stability during heavy-duty use. Every tool benefits from Knipex's signature high-precision hinging mechanism, eliminating unintentional joint movement. The ergonomic PVC-coated handles provide a secure, comfortable grip during prolonged use, reducing user fatigue.
