The connector features a polyurethane gland boot that provides exceptional protection against cable bending stresses. A solder barrier in the female contact ensures clean mating by preventing solder from seeping into contact areas. The unique contact cage design guarantees low resistance and high signal integrity, while the solid metal latch is larger for easier handling.
