Thor Hide Hammer Size 3, 44mm Face, 1230g
Professional Thor hide hammer with 44mm buffalo hide faces and 1230g iron head - ideal for engineering & repair work.
The Thor Hide Hammer Size 3 features a malleable iron head fitted with two cylindrical faces of compressed buffalo hide, mounted on a sturdy wooden shaft. This unique construction combines the weight of iron with the shock-absorbing properties of hide, allowing for powerful blows that won't damage delicate surfaces.
The malleable iron head provides the necessary weight for effective striking, while the hide faces absorb shock and distribute force evenly. This makes the hammer ideal for applications requiring heavy impact combined with precision in a relatively small striking area.
Designed for durability and long-term use, the hide faces are replaceable when worn - spare faces are readily available. The hammer features the traditional wedge-type handle (except for No.4 size which has a slip-on handle).
