The Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws offer superior performance with their high-quality A2 stainless steel construction. These screws are ideal for applications requiring ultimate corrosion resistance, making them perfect for fixing to softwoods, hardwoods (when pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, and plastics. They are particularly suitable for corrosive environments or when working with materials that have inherent corrosive characteristics, such as green oak.
Key features include a double countersunk head, which reduces the likelihood of head shear and aids in completing the countersinking process. The 40° deep single thread ensures a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance. Additionally, a single slash on screws 25mm and longer helps reduce torque and prevents timber splitting when screws are inserted close to the edge.
All sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded, while lengths 80mm and above have a 70mm thread length for optimal performance and ease of use.
