Timco Intumescent Letterbox - Satin Anodised Aluminium, Black Frame (305x70mm)
Fire-safe satin aluminium letterbox (305x70mm) with intumescent seal, smoke protection & 30-minute fire rating. Compliant with UK standards.
The Timco Intumescent Letterbox combines style and fire safety, featuring a sleek satin anodised aluminium construction with a black ABS frame. Designed for fire doors, it includes a high-performance intumescent liner that expands rapidly in the event of fire, sealing the opening to prevent smoke and flames from spreading while maintaining the door's fire resistance.
This telescopic letterbox is adjustable, fitting doors from 40mm to 80mm thick, ensuring compatibility with most fire-rated doors. Its 180° flap opening provides ample space for mail, while brush pile draught excluders and sound dampening bumpers enhance insulation and noise reduction. The fully sealed backplate ensures airtight performance, and the ergonomic curved edge offers a smooth, user-friendly design.
Compliant with industry standards, this letterbox has been tested for fire resistance (BS 476 part 22, BS EN 1634-1), smoke control (BS 476 part 31/1), acoustic performance (32dB Rw), and security (BS EN 13724, PAS 23/24) – making it a safe and reliable choice for residential and commercial properties.
