Timco Short Broaching Cutter, M2 Steel, 27mm x 30mm
High-grade M2 steel broaching cutter with TiAIN coating for durability. Short 30mm cutting depth. Includes pilot pin.
The Timco Short Broaching Cutter is crafted from high-grade M2 tool steel, making it ideal for drilling heavy gauge non-alloy materials, particularly when used with magnetic drills. For optimal performance, ensure the pilot rod is used to prevent drifting.
Featuring a Titanium-Aluminium-Nitride (TiAIN) coating, this cutter offers superior durability—reducing friction by 20% and increasing hardness by 20% compared to standard Titanium Nitride (TiN) coatings. The high-speed steel (HSS) body ensures resilience under demanding applications, and it comes complete with a pilot pin for stability.
