Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews PZ, Double Countersunk, Zinc, Size 8x2½, 200pcs
High-quality Timco twin-thread woodscrews in zinc. Double countersunk PZ2 heads for strong, flush fixing in timber or masonry.
The Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews feature a traditional design with single lead start for fast and efficient installation. These zinc-plated carbon steel screws are primarily used in soft timber applications or masonry with plastic plugs, offering excellent performance and durability.
The double countersunk head significantly reduces the likelihood of head shear and ensures a flush finish once fully countersunk. These screws are partially threaded for improved pull-out resistance and controlled fastening depth.
Key Features:
- Fast Installation: 60° twin-threads with parallel shank allow for quicker insertion while maintaining superior pull-out resistance.
- Durable Construction: Made from high-quality C10-18 carbon steel with surface hardening up to 750 HV for torque resistance and a core hardness of up to 450 HV for improved ductility.
- Precision Design: 25° sharp point with single lead ensures fast start and better thread acceptance in timber or masonry.
- Compatibility: Pozi (PZ2) drive recess for secure bit engagement and reduced cam-out risk.
Ideal for woodworking projects, these screws provide a strong and reliable fastening solution for carpenters, joiners, and DIY enthusiasts.
