Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews, PZ Double Countersunk, Zinc, 10 x 2½in, Pack of
Fast-install Timco woodscrews (PZ, double countersunk) for soft timber & masonry. Zinc-plated, 200-pack.
The Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews are designed for fast and secure installation in soft timber or masonry (with a plastic plug). Featuring a double countersunk head, these screws minimise the risk of head shear and ensure a flush finish.
Crafted from C10-18 carbon steel with zinc plating, these screws provide consistent quality and corrosion resistance. The partially threaded design (from 1¼in and above) ensures a strong grip while the 60° twin-threads with a parallel shank allow for faster insertion and superior pull-out resistance.
Key Features:
- Surface hardened (750 HV) – Prevents torque shearing under load.
- Core hardness (450 HV) – Enhances ductility for durability.
- 25° sharp point & single lead start – Ensures quick insertion and optimal thread acceptance.
- Pozi (PZ) recess for a secure fit using a PZ2 driver bit.
Ideal for soft timber applications and masonry (when paired with a plastic plug), these screws are a reliable choice for carpenters, builders, and DIY enthusiasts.
