Timco Zinc Helical Flat Roof Fixing, 8.0x165mm, 25 Pieces
Zinc-plated helical roof fixings for securing insulation to flat roofs. 8.0x165mm, high-tensile steel, no pre-drilling needed.
The Timco Zinc Helical Flat Roof Fixing is a hammer-driven fastener specifically designed for securing 6mm plywood composite insulation boards to flat roofing systems. Manufactured from high-tensile carbon steel with a protective zinc finish, these fixings offer exceptional durability and resistance to weathering.
One of the key advantages of these helical fixings is that they do not require pre-drilling - they twist directly into timber substrates, saving time and labour during installation. The robust zinc plating provides excellent corrosion protection, making them ideal for long-term outdoor use in roofing applications.
With a substantial 165mm length, these fixings can accommodate insulation board up to 130mm thick while maintaining the required 35mm minimum embedment depth for secure fastening. The 8.8 grade carbon steel construction ensures high tensile strength for reliable performance under load.
