WISKA VentPLUG Nylon Pressure Equalisation Unit, Light Grey, IP68/IP69 - M20

The WISKA VentPLUG is a specialised nylon pressure equalisation unit, designed to regulate internal and external pressures within electrical enclosures. This essential component prevents condensation buildup and protects sensitive electronics from damage caused by pressure differentials, such as those occurring during rapid temperature changes or altitude variations.

Featuring a robust, flat design, the VentPLUG offers a space-saving solution that enables flexible installation in confined areas. Its construction from high-grade nylon (polyamide) ensures excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and UV exposure, providing long-term reliability in demanding industrial and commercial environments. The unit is finished in a light grey colour for a professional, neutral appearance.

A key feature of this unit is its dual IP68/IP69 rating, guaranteeing exceptional protection. It is dust-tight (IP6X) and can withstand prolonged immersion in water under pressure (IP68), as well as high-pressure, high-temperature jet cleaning (IP69K). This makes it perfectly suited for harsh settings including food processing plants, washdown areas, marine applications, and outdoor installations exposed to the elements.

As part of the WISKA EVPS series, this VentPLUG is engineered for use alongside compatible cable glands where additional pressure management is required. It effectively vents the enclosure while maintaining its high ingress protection seal. Easy to install and maintenance-free, it is a critical accessory for ensuring the longevity and proper functioning of electrical systems housed in sealed enclosures.
