The Yale P1 Double Security Nightlatch offers robust protection for your home with its high security features. This nightlatch is perfect for timber external doors and particularly effective for glass panelled doors, where visual and physical security are equally important.

Operated with a key from the outside and a dual-action lever handle from the inside, this lock provides flexible entry and exit. The lockable internal handle further enhances security, while the automatically deadlocking latch ensures the door stays locked once closed. The snib function (bolt hold back button) allows the latch to be held open, useful for airing your home without compromising security.

The nightlatch includes a 5-pin high-performance cylinder, which delivers superior resistance against picking and forced entry. With a 20mm anti-carding bolt, the unit provides unmatched tamper resistance.

This model has a 60mm backset—measured from the door’s edge to the keyhole centre—making it suitable for standard door widths. For narrower spaces (such as glass panelled doors), a 40mm backset variant is also available.
