Fischer Duopower Plasterboard Wall Plugs - 8mm x 65mm

The Fischer Duopower Plasterboard Wall Plug is a versatile and high-performance fixing solution designed to provide a secure and reliable hold in a wide range of building materials. Its innovative two-component design ensures optimal functionality, automatically adapting its securing mechanism—whether expansion, folding, or knotting—based on the substrate it is installed into. This intelligent response guarantees the highest possible load values and installation security for your projects.

The plug consists of a durable grey nylon component and a supportive red component. The grey part activates the appropriate function for the material, while the red component's expansion wings enhance secure expansion and provide additional reinforcement. This combination delivers exceptional performance in both solid masonry and hollow or panel materials like plasterboard, making it an indispensable all-rounder for both professional tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts.

Installation is remarkably straightforward and user-friendly. The preshaped narrow edge on the plug head prevents it from slipping too deep into the drill hole, ensuring it remains at the correct depth for optimal hold. A serrated anti-rotation feature stops the plug from turning during screw insertion, allowing for easy and controlled tightening. The design provides excellent tactile feedback, so you can feel precisely when the anchor is seated perfectly, eliminating guesswork and preventing over-tightening.

Supplied in a convenient pack, these plugs are ready for a multitude of fixing tasks around the home, workshop, or construction site. Their robust nylon construction ensures longevity and resistance to corrosion. Whether you are mounting shelves, assembling furniture, installing kitchen units, or securing electrical fittings, the Fischer Duopower plug offers a dependable and strong fixing point that you can trust.
