Fischer N-S Nylon Hammerfix Fixing Screws - 8mm x 120mm

The Fischer N-S Nylon Hammerfix Fixing Screws are a premium solution for rapid and secure fixings in a variety of building materials. Designed for internal use, they are ideal for anchoring timber constructions and other fixtures quickly and efficiently. This product combines a high-quality nylon plug with a zinc-plated nail screw, pre-assembled for immediate use to save valuable installation time.

Employing a time-saving through-type installation method, the fixings are led directly through the component to be secured. As the nail screw is driven in, the nylon sleeve expands, creating a powerful mechanical anchor within the substrate. This reliable expansion ensures a strong, vibration-resistant hold that is perfect for series installations where both speed and consistency are paramount.

A key design feature is the integrated hammer-in stop, which prevents the plug from expanding prematurely—a common cause of jamming. This allows for smooth, problem-free installation every time. Furthermore, the combination of a Pozidriv cross-slot recess and the nail screw's thread allows for removal if required, offering flexibility for subsequent adjustments or dismantling.

The screws are part of the esteemed Fischer Fixings Hammerfix range, renowned for its quality and reliability in the trade. Supplied in a convenient pack, they are an economical choice for contractors, joiners, and serious DIY enthusiasts who require a dependable fixing for interior projects.
