LITTELFUSE MEGA Series Time Delay Fuse - 250A

The LITTELFUSE MEGA Series Time Delay Fuse represents a premium solution for high-current circuit protection, engineered for robust reliability in demanding applications. Designed specifically for circuits requiring ultra-high current protection, this fuse utilises advanced diffusion pill technology and a time-delay characteristic, making it exceptionally suitable for safeguarding electrical systems against overloads and short circuits.

The fuse is constructed to offer superior performance with a precisely controlled voltage drop of 92mV and a cold resistance of just 0.352mΩ, minimising energy loss and heat generation. Its high interrupting rating of 2000A at 32VDC ensures it can safely clear major fault currents, protecting connected equipment and wiring from catastrophic damage.

Applications

Its primary application is in automotive and heavy-duty vehicle environments, where it provides essential protection for high-current pathways. This includes critical circuits such as those for batteries and alternators, as well as for auxiliary systems and aftermarket installations that use heavy-gauge cabling. It is the ideal choice for any application where space is limited but protection requirements are extreme, ensuring the integrity of the electrical system under strenuous conditions.

The robust and compact design, featuring a distinct colour for easy visual identification, offers straightforward installation and reliable performance. By choosing the MEGA Series fuse, you are selecting a component backed by advanced technology and a proven track record for safety and durability in high-stress electrical environments.
