MULTICOMP PRO - 100VA Toroidal Transformer - 18V

The MULTICOMP PRO MCTA series toroidal transformer is a premium, general-purpose component engineered for reliable power management in a variety of electronic applications. Featuring a compact, low-profile toroidal design, it offers superior efficiency with reduced electromagnetic interference (EMI) and minimal mechanical hum compared to traditional laminated transformers.

This transformer is constructed with dual primary and dual secondary windings, providing exceptional flexibility for circuit design. The dual primary winding allows for connection in series or parallel to accommodate different mains voltage inputs (115V or 230V). Similarly, the secondary windings can be configured in series for a higher voltage output, in parallel for increased current capacity, or used independently for dual-rail applications. This makes it an incredibly versatile solution for power supplies, audio amplifiers, laboratory equipment, and industrial control systems.

Key to its durability and safety is the double-insulated primary lead-out and the flexible, enamel-coated secondary leads. These leads can be trimmed to any required length without stripping the enamel, simplifying installation and ensuring a secure connection. Every unit undergoes rigorous 100% electrical and flash testing prior to dispatch, guaranteeing performance and safety compliance.

Supplied as a complete kit for easy panel mounting, it includes the transformer, a dished mounting plate, two foam pads, and the necessary screw, nut, and washer. This professional-grade component is designed for longevity and stable operation in demanding environments.
