POLYMAKER 1.75mm PolyLite ASA 3D Printer Filament - Black

Developed by the renowned brand Polymaker, the PolyLite™ ASA 3D printing filament represents a significant advancement over traditional ABS materials. Engineered for superior environmental resilience, it delivers exceptional UV and weather resistance, ensuring printed parts maintain their structural integrity and aesthetic appearance when exposed to sunlight and the elements. This makes it the ideal choice for outdoor applications, from functional prototypes to durable end-use components.

PolyLite ASA retains the robust mechanical strength and durability associated with ABS, offering reliable performance for demanding functional parts. Its formulation provides excellent dimensional stability and layer adhesion, resulting in high-quality prints with minimal warping when used within the recommended parameters. The filament is optimised for printing speeds between 30mm/s and 50mm/s, balancing efficiency with print quality.

Printing Guidelines

For optimal results, an enclosed 3D printer is recommended to maintain a stable thermal environment and prevent drafts, which is crucial for dimensional accuracy. The recommended printing temperature range is 240°C to 260°C, with a heated bed temperature of 75°C to 95°C to promote strong first-layer adhesion and reduce the risk of warping.
