PRO-ELEC YY Control Cable - 1mm

The PRO-ELEC YY Control Cable is a premium, high-flexibility cabling solution engineered for critical control and instrumentation applications. Designed for industrial and commercial environments, it ensures reliable signal transmission for machinery, production lines, and automation systems where repeated movement is required.

This 12-core cable features Class 5 flexible, plain copper conductors, providing excellent conductivity and resilience against fatigue from bending and flexing. Encased in a durable grey PVC jacket, it is rated for use in dry, moist, and wet indoor rooms, offering versatile installation options.

Key Specifications & Features

• Voltage Rating: 300/500V, suitable for a wide range of low-voltage control circuits.
• Temperature Range: Operates reliably from -40°C to +80°C when fixed, and from -5°C to +70°C when flexed, ensuring performance in varying environmental conditions.
• Flexibility: Class 5 construction allows for free movement in applications without tensile load, making it ideal for moving parts on machinery.
• Bend Radius: A minimum bend radius of 6x the overall diameter (OD) when fixed, and 12x OD when flexed, protects the cable's integrity during installation and operation.
• Robust Construction: The unscreened design with a PVC outer sheath provides durability and resistance to oils, moisture, and abrasion commonly found in industrial settings.

Applications & Suitability

This cable is purpose-built for connecting and powering instrumentation, control panels, and tooling equipment. Its flexibility makes it perfect for cable tracks, robotic arms, and other applications requiring repeated motion. It is suitable for fixed installations, as well as flexible use in control cabinets and on factory floors. Please note this cable is not designed for outdoor or underground installation.
