PRO SIGNAL OM4 Duplex LC-LC Fibre Optic Patch Lead - 15m

The PRO SIGNAL OM4 Duplex Fibre Optic Patch Lead is a high-performance networking cable designed for demanding data centre and enterprise applications. It utilises advanced multimode glass fibres to transmit data via modulated light waves, offering superior bandwidth and longer reach compared to older OM3 standards. This cable features LC connectors on both ends, providing a compact and reliable duplex connection for high-density network environments.

Constructed with an aqua-coloured Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) jacket, this patch lead is engineered for safety in confined spaces. In the event of a fire, the LSOH material minimises the emission of toxic fumes and corrosive gases, protecting both personnel and sensitive electronic equipment. The cable is built for durability and consistent signal integrity over its lifetime.

Key Performance Features

• OM4 Performance: Delivers enhanced bandwidth of 3500/4700 MHz·km and supports greater transmission distances, making it ideal for 10Gb, 40Gb, and 100Gb Ethernet applications.
• High-Quality Connectors: Equipped with UPC polished connectors that provide a superior connection with a return loss greater than 35dB, ensuring minimal signal reflection and maximum data throughput.
• Dual Wavelength Support: Optimised for use with 850nm and 1300nm wavelengths, offering compatibility with a wide range of optical transceivers and network equipment.
• Reliable Construction: The duplex design keeps transmit and receive fibres securely together for organised cable management and easy identification.

This patch lead is an essential component for building a robust and future-proof fibre optic infrastructure, providing the speed, reliability, and safety required for modern high-speed networks.
